Community Life

Brookview Meadows celebrates its residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year that bring our community together. Our community offers an array of activities on a daily, weekly and monthly basis that keep residents well-exercised and entertained. Daily aerobic and weekly Whoga exercise classes, along with water therapy programs and classes, are among events that keep our residents up and active. For fun, residents can join the bridge and smear card groups or try their luck at weekly poker night or penny bingo. Weekday documentaries are shown in our community as well as a Saturday movie matinee. Our Happy Hour Social gatherings on Mondays and Fridays and the ice cream socials on the weekends are highly popular with residents and their guests.

Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.

Mother's Day Car Parade

Brookview Meadows will be hosting a Mother’s Day Car Parade at 2:00pm on Sunday, May 10th! We will be encouraging residents to step out onto their balconies, or watch from the window, as family and friends drive by! Family is encouraged to decorate cars or make signs for their loved ones to see. The last parade was a huge success for residents to see everyone during this time of social distancing.

Notes about the parade: 1. Start in the back-parking lot (labeled “Start/Enter Here” on the route map in pictures) and feel free to drive around the building as many times as you want! 2. If the back parking lot is full to start, feel free to park in the back of Piggly Wiggly and wait there until start time. 3. Please wait until 2:00pm to start, or take more than one lap. This will allow time for residents to get onto their balcony, some don’t have the luxury of being out there early. 4. This is not the time to park your car in the back and get out, please keep the traffic moving slowly on the parade route. 5. If you are thinking of visiting outside, please still stay 6 ft back, it is very easy for 6 ft to become 3 ft if residents have a hard time hearing.
