Come together to show our love for those affected my Alzheimer's disease

On June 21st, 2018, The Longest day of the year and summer solstice, dozens of people from our community will come together to show their love for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. Events happening throughout the day ending with a casino night starting at 6:30. All proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer's Association.

Join Canton Regency as we explore empowering information on planning meaningful and respectful choices for those we love. Ask questions and receive answers from hospice and palliative care professionals. This is a 2 hour educational series on Hospice and Palliative care. Rev. Brian S. Suntken, Crossroads Hospice, will discuss how our Happiness and Humor positively impacts our ability to heal. This is a fun event, with refreshments and tours available.

Catholic High School Choir

Catholic High School Choir

The residents were honored with a special choir concert. Canton Regency was honored to have the Central Catholic High School Choir perform for our residents. The choir, lead by P.J. Shavez, entertained with a variety of songs from different genres, accompanied by the piano. The Choir consists of 16 members who are looking forward to another visit in the fall, once they return from Summer Break. In addition to the wonderful singing, the students took time to share fellowship and snacks with our residents.

The Mothers at Canton Regency enjoyed a special tea to celebrate Mother's Day. Each Mother was honored with a flower and a special thank you for all the support and love that they have given to their families. Canton Regency would also like to extend warm wishes to all the Mother's that guide and teach each of us every day, THANK YOU!

Welcome to The Stark County Medical Society

Canton Regency was honored to host the May Board Meeting for the Stark County Medical Society. In addition to the traditional board meeting, an educational presentation on the Opiod Crisis in Northeast Ohio was delivered to the area physicians. It was a pleasant evening for education, fellowship and the Cav's win at the end of the evening.

Celebrating the Running of the Roses!

The residents at Canton Regency celebrated Derby Days and the Running of the Roses! A great time was had by all, the hat certainly did not disappoint! The ladies pictured were our award winning hats and outfits, the scarf was personally designed and made by our resident Ms. Ilene Hamilton.
