Rachel Mee, CEO, of APTO Financial Services will be at Georgetowne Place on March 24 at 1pm. Rachel will share with us helpful tips on how to have to a long, stable financial management strategy long into our retirement years. Rachel will also talk about the many services her company offers to assist retirees and their families with financial management.
Translated, The Poorly Guarded Girl, is a romantic, flirty romp featuring a very pretty girl, her one true love and her mother's other ideas for whom her daughter should marry. We will leave Georgetowne Place at 6:30pm, March 17, to see this beautiful ballet at the Civic Theater downtown.
Fort Wayne Children's Zoo volunteers bring friendly animals to area hospitals and other facilities in this free community program. Enjoy cuddly little creatures when they visit Georgetowne Place on March 8 at 1pm. They will do a presentation and show their animals to us.
Do you enjoy listening to a beautiful big band? The New Horizon, wonderful 30 person band, will be joining Georgetowne Place on March 4 at 10am. Get a seat early and join us! This is the first time they have been here because they are booked so far in advance.
Do you love to play euchre? Then please join us on Friday, February 19 at 1pm for our annual euchre tournament. This tournament will allow you to play with many friends of all skill levels. This is a progressive tourney. Each table plays eight hands and then players move on to other tables. Scores will be visible so everyone can see other's progress. Snacks, beverages and PRIZES will be available!
As the holiday season quickly approaches, it is even more important, to give back to our community and especially those that are less fortunate. During the month of November until Christmas, Georgetowne Place is partnering with the Community Harvest Food Bank to collect nonperishable food items. Right next to the front desk and front doors there is a large collection bin to put items to donate. THANK YOU!
Georgetowne Place has recently put into a place a Safety Committee. Current members, Bryce V., Kris L., Kathy M., Michelle C., Eric O., Barb N., and Jennifer G. and working hard to put new higher levels of safety in place for our community. This committee will be working to review policy, engage staff and make Georgetowne Place an even safer place to live and work.
