You can browse antiques and primitives in the general store, too. The restaurants menu includes made from scratch soups, salads and sandwiches. We look forward to having you join us!

The Fort 4 Fitness Senior Marathon is a summer long program. Starting in June and running through September you log your progress to cumulate 26.2 miles. These miles can include your daily routine. Did you know, if you walk all of the hallways on a floor, you have walked half of a mile? Or have you started enjoying these our wonderful weather and using the walking paths that go around the community? There are more than 100 days to get the miles in, that's not even two hallways a day.
Registration forms may be obtained from the activities office or the front desk. If you need a little more incentive, we will even pay your registration pay if you participate. Come on, what do you have to lose? Let's show the rest of Fort Wayne how active and healthy the seniors at Georgetowne Place are! Starting in June, we are adding a walking club on Tuesdays at 1pm and Fridays at 3pm.
Also, the Senior Marathon kick off event is on Saturday, June 4 out at Jefferson Pointe. Georgetowne Place is a sponsor of marathon and of this kick-off event. The event starts at 10am with music from The Bulldogs, health and exercise demonstrations, giveaways and much more!
We look forward to a great summer of walking!
If you hear a fire alarm, don't panic. We ask that everyone stay in their apartment. By remaining in your apartment, you will provide assistance by keeping halls free and clear for any action required. If you are in a public/common area remain there and wait for directors from staff. If we should be faced with a tornado warning, we ask that you come to public/common area on the first floor. If you remain in your apartment, keep all windows and drapes closed. If you use your bathroom for protection remember to shut the door.
Is there an activity that you would like to see at Georgetowne Place? On April 11 at 11am join Shelley, Activity Coordinator, to discuss the different activities that we offer at Georgetowne Place. The Food Committee, at Georgetowne Place, is a great way to share your ideas and make meal time better for all residents.
