Annual Christmas Party

Christmas Movie Marathon

Who doesn't love a good Christmas movie? Miracle on 34th Street, White Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, A Christmas Story so many great one's to pick from. We will be hosting a Christmas movie marathon on Christmas Day. Come pick out your favorite while enjoying popcorn and candy!

Francine’s Friend Mobile Mammography is Coming

When it comes to breast cancer, the best protection is early detection! That is why on Friday, February 28 from 9am to 3pm, Georgetowne Place will host Francine’s Friends Mobile Mammography. The coach has even had the new 3D Tomo mammography installed, the latest in mammography technology! We want to support our community by helping drive down the number of breast cancer cases right here in Fort Wayne. To make your appointment you may contact Parkview at 260-483-1847 ext. 26540.

Scenic Drive

The scenic drives in December are always a little extra special as we head out to see Christmas lights. We will be taking two trips to see the Fantasy of Lights on Franke Park! Reserve your seat today for December 12 and December 17!

Walker Assessment

Legacy Therapy will be offering a walker assessment clinic. This is open to everyone. They will be providing a free tune up; brakes, tires and all mechanisms will be checked to ensure they are in good working condition. We want to ensure our residents are using safe walking devices.

Manicures

Join us on December 5 for a FREE manicure. Ladies and gentleman are welcome! No polish, gloss or a fun new color we have them all for you to sit back, relax and be pampered. This will be the perfect time to ensure your nails are ready for the holiday season.

Tree Trimming Event

The holidays are quickly approaching and we want to kick off our holiday season with the annual Georgetowne Place tree trimming party. Come down to the first floor and help us decorate our largest tree in the community, at 15 ft tall! We will enjoy a lovely afternoon of Christmas carols, cookies, egg nog and hot cocoa! We hope you can join us!

Walk to End Alzheimer's Sucess

Last month, you may have participated in our bake sale, chili cook-off and raffle. All of those fundraiser's went towards our goal of $1,500 to raise for the Alzheimer's Association, Walk to End Alzheimer's Team, on October 5. With the help of residents, families, friends and staff we were able to raise $2,269.41, far surpassing our goal!! Thank you to all who participated!

Alzheimer’s Association Fundraiser: The Longest Day

On June 21, 2019, the longest day of the year and summer solstice, dozens of people from our community will come together to show their love for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. You can be one of them. Join us Friday, June 21 for a fun-filled day of with many activities to raise money and awareness to fight Alzheimer’s.

Throughout the month of June, we’ll be accepting donations on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association to support research, caregivers and those affected by Alzheimer’s. To join the fight, contact us today for more information. We look forward to seeing you on June 21!
