Cupid Floats Ice Cream Social

We kept the fun going Valentine's day, in the afternoon we served Cupid floats. They are vanilla ice cream with strawberry soda, we topped it with whipped cream, sprinkles, a cherry and a strawberry. Earlier that week we made Valentine's day bags to fill for the residents. We filled them with candy, snacks, Valentine's, and cards. These were handed out at the social, but not until after the staff performed the Cupid Shuffle for the residents with some even joining in on the dance. Everyone had a blast!

We had some fun Valentine's day morning with breakfast. We made the residents red pancakes dressed up with some whipped cream and strawberries. We even took it a little further and made them into the shape of hearts. A few were even created into messages. We make an XOXO and LOVE. It was a real treat for them as some had never had red pancakes before.
