Meet our July Resident of the Month

Heritage Oaks is proud to recognize our July Resident of the Month, Ann Y. Ann moved to our community in October of 2017 and has been a vital part of our family ever since. Ann met her husband, Dow in elementary school and had to wait until her senior year of high school to marry him! Together they had four sons and adopted a fifth. This very special lady was a stay at home mom with the full time job of raising these five boys. Each of Ann's natural children had cystic fibrous and because of her gift of caring for such special children, Ann and Dow adopted another child with the same diagnosis. There are no words to describe how blessed this world is to have couples like the Yates, who go above and beyond to care for others with special needs. Ann enjoys reading, playing games but loves to cook. She has shared many recipes with us and we can't wait to try them. Ann brightens our community with her smile and her story fills our hearts with love.
