Community Life

Rosemont keeps its residents entertained with special activities including Bingo, Ice cream socials, karaoke events and shopping trips.  Our weekly happy hours and movie nights are a special treat for our residents and provides them with the opportunity to socialize with their friends and neighbors. Our community celebrates with a number of social programs that bring our community together as well, including monthly birthday parties, pet therapy, fieldtrips to places of interest, men’s luncheons and yearly celebrations such as our Annual Luau. We have a group or residents, our Crocheting Grannies, which are involved in community outreach programs making hats for our soldiers and for sick babies that are in the local hospitals. Various outside clubs host meetings in our community and participate in activities with our residents. Among these are Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Atsacocita Garden Club, local bridge clubs and local Boys and Girls Scouts. Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.

Happy Father's Day

Rosemont's Father's Day Luncheon was a big success!
The men feasted on beef tenderloin with potatoes and veggies and finished up with a succulent fudge brownie sundae.
In between some Father's Day trivia they enjoyed musical Showstoppers from the Andrew Sisters, Cab Calloway, Gene Kelley and more.

Memorial Day Tribute Sucess!

Today we took some time out to honor the memory of all of our Warriors who gave their lives in the line of duty to fight for and protect the freedom of this beautiful country in which we now reside.
Residents took turns adding red white and blue flowers to a wreath in memory of their loved ones, many of whom whispered the words "This one's for you Honey" as they applied their flower.
Patriotic songs were sang, Flanders Field poem was read , Poppies were handed out to all in attendance. The program was finished up with a Prayer by our own Mr. Glen M. and a beautiful rendition of Amazing Grace filled the room played on the piano by Ms. Pauline who also resides at Rosemont. We also thank Texas Elite Hospice who were very instrumental in helping to bring this all together.
