Rhyming Genius

One of our residents is a genius with words. With just 3-35 adjectives about any topic
he can put the most beautiful poems together.

It's been one month now, since we made our move.
Into Spring Meadows - we both did approve.
A "Senior Center" or "An Old Folks Home"?
Let me tell you more in this rhyming poem.

On our corridor, lives our centerfold.
My friend, Gilda, 107 years old!
Jerry lives next door, 98 years spry.
It should be most fun learning from this guy.

200+ people are living here.
Many quite willing to lend you an ear.
Most people, quite social, looking for a friend.
A nice atmosphere - we do recommend!

Cerebral palsy, polio and strokes,
Dementia, etc., for these friendly folks.
Afflictions galore - none of them the same.
Deal with your problems - the name of this game.

Many fine couples fend for each other.
Sister to sister or son to mother.
Wives care for husbands, or in the reverse.
Loving their partners - their practical nurse!

A grand melting pot, with games from our past.
One quickly becomes an enthusiast.
Players for Bridge, Canasta or Bingo.
For many card games - just learn the lingo.

Most activities are on the first floor.
And, our daily meals are really "top drawer".
Soups of the day and desserts are the best.
Most varied entrees - We've been most imprest.

Most friendly people - we're learning first names.
Enjoying each other and playing our games.
The activities are varied and fun.
Playing as partners or just one-on-one.

Exercise classes are held in one room.
Interactions, therein, make friendships bloom.
Making new friends, each and every day.
The main message in this communiqué.
