Presenting Classical Pianist Donald Alfano

Donald Alfano received his Bachelor of Music degree from Boston University, and his Master of Music degree from Manhattan School of Music. He earned his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Music where he was the recipient of the Victor Babin Award in Piano and was awarded an accompanying fellowship.
He currently teaches Music History, Latin and Caribbean Music, and Music in America: from Jazz to Rock at Housatonic Community College in Bridgeport. Alfano also serves as organist at St. Joseph's Church in New Haven.This month he will bring his amazing piano talents to Spring Meadows.

Presenting the Black Rock Congregational Choir

Black Rock Congregational Church is a non-denominational evangelical church located in Fairfield, Connecticut. The church was established in 1849 in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, Connecticut, and moved to its current site in 1968.

Mark Albertson presents Susan B. Anthony
Born in 1820 to a Quaker family, Susan B. Anthony became a leading social reformer, women’s rights activist, suffragette, and abolitionist who was committed to social equality. An individual of great commitment and resolve, she ran for public office in New York, even at the risk of going to jail. She will forever be known as a tireless champion for the Women’s Right to Vote.

Visiting Angels Rock!

Visiting Angels hosted a wonderful pizza party complete with Rock and Roll music by DJ Mike.
We had so much fun a conga line broke out before the last slice could be eaten.
Can't wait until we do line dancing.

Dancing w/ Cynthia

Our residents have rich histories and wonderful talents to share.
As a young girl Cynthia danced for the famous ballet choreographer George Balanchine.
She now lends her talents to us and leads a class once a week for our residents.

Hurray for Happy Hour!

Happy hour was such such a hit we went from 3 days a week to 5.
Now every day is a happy day at Spring Meadows!

Valentines Day Chocolate Event

The residents at Spring Meadows had a great time throughout the day with a chocolate stations. Here was the chocolate Martini station.
