Community Life

The Amberleigh celebrates its residents with special speaker series, summer concerts and more throughout the year that bring our community together. Sunday brunches are always a special treat for our residents, as are the number of social programs that occur seven days a week. Our residents are heavily involved in community outreach “Pay It Forward” programs that support the American Heart Association, Variety Club of Buffalo and Roswell Park Cancer Institute. New residents are welcomed by our Volunteer Ambassador Program. Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.

National Social Worker's Month

March is National Social Worker's Month and local social workers from all area hospitals and rehab facilities were treated to our "Blarney Brownies" created by Chuck and Cody in our dining room and delivered by our Marketing Department.
We are grateful to all the social workers, case managers and discharge planners at these facilities throughout WNY for taking care of our residents when they are in their care.
We will be forever indebted and thankful to you all for all the love and care to provide year round.

Hoops 4 Hearts

Amberleigh helped Transit Middle School with their Hoops 4 Hearts fundraiser for the American Heart Association.
For one full week some of our residents went over to Transit Middle during the kids lunch hour to help get them all signed up and collect the money that they raised for the basketball tournament.
We are happy to say Transit Middle collected over $600 for The American Heart Association. Our residents were very impressed by the school and the students and are looking forward to going back for a tour of the school and to see their 3D graphic copier.
