Community Life

The Waterford at Baytown celebrates its residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year that bring our community together. From film screenings in our onsite movie theater to group outings to popular shopping and dining destinations, residents at our community always have something to look forward to. During times when seniors are not participating in group activities, they are encouraged to socialize with neighbors in one of our many common areas or grab a treat from our overflowing ice cream chest and enjoy a walk.

Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.

Good Friday Egg Hunt

On April the 14th, The Waterford at Baytown, hosted a Good Friday Easter Egg Hunt Extravaganza. The residents had stuffed 2,000 eggs for the kids to hunt. The children were first lined up in the Lobby and greeted by the Easter Bunny, and then they were released into the courtyard to find the eggs. After all of the eggs were gone, the children took pictures with the Bunny, had their faces painted, ate popcorn and snow cones and played games. Then we were entertained by The Fill-N-Band, as we ate our hot dogs and hamburgers that were cooked on the grill outside by our Executive Director, Danelle Brandon, and our Wellness Director, Melinda Bass. They were delicious! Then as our main event, we had 3 Capuchin monkeys come out to take pictures with the children and residents, They will all have pictures as a souvenir of the awesome day that we all had! It was GREAT!
