Community Renovation Updates

Our contractor continues to work on flood damage remediation.  Removal of flood impacted surfaces is nearing completion.  When this work is completed, interior wall structures will be sanitized and sealed.  We will begin reinstallation of fixtures on the first floor as soon as the industrial hygienist releases the building.  We continue to anticipate a partial building reopening as soon as January.

Please feel free to contact the property directly at 281-542-9445.

Hurricane Harvey Updates

The removal of surfaces affected by the flood water continues.  This work entails removing the bottom three feet of drywall, carpeting or other flooring material, as well as any other fixtures that may have been exposed to the water.  Once this removal has been completed, work will begin to repair as needed, clean, disinfect and seal the internal structure of the wall.  This work is expected to take several weeks.  We are anticipating receiving an approximate time frame for in the near future as to when we can have residents return to The Waterford at Deer Park.  We are working closely with our contractor to complete the work as quickly as possible, so that all of our residents can return to their homes.

We will continue to update this site with information as we receive it.

If you should have any questions between updates, please feel free to contact the property directly at 281-542-9445.

The removal of drywall is complete in the hallway and common areas.  Work is expected to begin in individual apartments over the next week.

Hurricane Harvey Updates

We continue to allow families to access the community to remove personal belongings.  We need to have all resident items out of the community as soon as possible.  We know that many families will be up this weekend to do so.

*If you have not been contacted by the community to retrieve belongings, please contact The Waterford at Deer Park directly at 281-542-9445.*

On Monday, we will be turning over the entire property to our contractors to complete the removal of affected items and to clean and sanitize the building.  Once this work is complete. we will have a better timeline of when The Waterford at Deer Park will be able to have residents return to their homes.
