Community Life

The Waterford on Highland Colony celebrates its residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year that bring our community together. Our community features plenty of things to experience, from movie nights to special wine and cider socials. Our seniors can access the Ridgeland Super Star Senior Program offering many enrichment programs to people 55 and over including oil painting, foreign language classes, martial arts and dancing. Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.

Lunch & Learn - Spiritual Health

The Waterford on Highland Colony will host “Lunch & Learn” on Thursday, February 27 at 11:30 am.

David Raddin, pastor of Still Water Church, will present information on spiritual health,
while guests enjoy a lunch catered by The Waterford.

All senior adults age 62 and over are invited to attend.

The event is free and open to the public,
but seating is extremely limited and reservations are required.

Lunch & Learn - Safe and Effective Drug Therapies

The Waterford on Highland Colony will host “Lunch & Learn” on Thursday, January 30 at 11:30 am, with Erin Martinez, PharmD, owner / pharmacist of Choice Pharmacy in Ridgeland, speaking on safe and effective drug therapies. In addition to holding a doctorate of pharmacy, Dr. Martinez holds degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Physics and Mathematics.

Dr. Martinez’ first residency was at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD where she focused on primary care, leadership, and institutional pharmacy. Her second residency was completed at University of Mississippi Medical Center and focused on Infectious Disease.

All senior adults age 62 and over are invited to attend. Lunch will be catered by The Waterford.
