The Villas at Vintage Oaks celebrates residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year, bringing the community together. Community luncheons, bridge and coffee clubs, tai chi, XBox bowling and canasta are among the many recreational opportunities for residents to be involved. Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.
We enjoyed a lovely lunch at one our favorite eating places. Cajun cuisine and friends, are a great combination. We rode our 14 passenger bus and there is always great conversations and laughs on the way,
Harpist, Ruth Acuff was our guest at our Clubhouse. We enjoyed an afternoon with the talents of Ruth Acuff. She is the granddaughter of one of our residents. Her ability to play the harp is very impressive.
she composes songs about life experiences and played a familiar song too. Thank you to her for sharing her music with us.
If you like to keep your body moving and limber, you will want to join our Vintage Oaks residents every Monday and Friday at 11am for group exercises. This is a fun group exercise class that does a lot of stretching, which is ideal for keeping your core body strong and joints limber and free in movements. If you would like to live in a community with this amenity, please give Beth Brand a call at 816-279-3330 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
If eating out is what you like to do, you won't be alone at Vintage Oaks Independent Living. Every Wednesday, our campus bus takes the Vintage Oaks residents to a local restaurant for the lunch meal. Of course, our activity director is there to help out when needed and to make the arrangements. That way, you can sit back and enjoy your time out with your friends and neighbors. If this is the lifestyle that you would like to have, please give Beth Brand a call at 816-279-3330 or email at email@example.com. We would love for you to be a part of the Vintage Family!
We had our weekly meal together. We had spaghetti, salad, and lemon cake for dessert. Our residents always pitch in help clean up the tables because we always have a rousing game of Mexican Train dominoes. The game can be quite an afternoon of laughing and having a lot of fun!. Our winner of the day was Larry.
