Joyce Ray Patterson's Kitchen band

The Joyce Ray Patterson Kitchen Band entertained the residents at the North facility in Saint Joseph, Mo. The Kitchen Band is a favorite with the residents. They are unique and play songs that the residents remember from days gone by.

Remington Nature Center

We were truly blessed with the presentation about the Remington Center. She held up several animal skins and the residents were suppose to guess what animal it belonged to. We were reminded what all there is to see and do at the center so that will be our next outing.

The Old Cook Stove

We had a beautiful day for a drive to Weatherby MO. We drove past wind turbines turning slowly in the wind. Green fields of soybeans and corn. Hill sides spotted with cattle and horses. We ate on a large porch and enjoyed each others company. Perfect weather for eating outdoors.
