The Waterford at Dillon Pointe celebrates its residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year that bring our community together. Monthly education programs and weekly religious services are available to participate in. Residents also can take part in a monthly Alzheimer’s support group. The Waterford at Dillon Pointe is hosting a family support group with The National Alzheimer's Association on May 23, 2017 at 5:30 pm. Dori Burgess will be the featured speaker emphasizing effective communication strategies for those with loved ones diagnosed with Alzheimer's. This is a free workshop. Please come out and join us for this wonderful event. Light hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be provided.
It's That time again...Summer time. We would like to invite everyone to our Annual Memorial Day Cook-Out on May 29th. This is for our Residents, Their Families and Our Staff. The event will start about 11:00 am. We will be eating around 12:00pm. We will also be having a Bottle Auction. The money raised from this will be going to The Alzheimers Association. So please come out and join us.
The Waterford at Dillon Pointe residents will be having a St. Patrick's Day party. Everyone is encouraged to wear green this day. We will have green treats, drinks, games, and lots of fun.
The Waterford At Dillon Pointe is hosting a Valentine's Day Dance for residents and their families. We will have music, dancing, food, and drinks. We will also be announcing the Valentine's Day King and Queen this night. The winners will be chosen by most popular vote. Please see a staff member for instructions on how to vote for King and Queen.
Please join us for a relaxing evening of fun on January 17, 2016 at 6:30pm. A freelance painter from Charlotte, North Carolina will be here for a lesson in painting on canvas. Each participant will be able to paint a picture and keep it as a souvenir. We will also enjoying a light snack of crackers and cheese with a glass of wine. It will be an opportunity to socialize and create your own artwork that you would be proud of and want to show off.
Don’t Miss It! Saturday, December 10th from 9:00AM-11:30AM! We are having out FIRST Christmas Bazaar! All funds from this bazaar will be divided between the Alzheimers Association and to provide new supplies for the Dillon Pointe Assisted Living facility. We plan on having food vendors, craft vendors and our very own craft made by the residents for sale! We will have different tables with games/activities, gift wrapping area, different performance, making it fun for everyone!
The Waterford at Dillon Pointe was presented the "Best of 2017" Award for being the best of Assisted Living in Spartanburg.
