Community Life

The Waterford at Levis Commons celebrates its residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year that bring our community together. We feature various monthly speakers and performers throughout the year to help educate and entertain our residents. The community also offers a full program of diverse and interesting recreational activities. Advanced Care Planning

Please join us for a night with Southern Care Hospice for an informative discussion on end of life planning. The Southern Care Team will provide information on patient/practitioner decisions involving living wills and health care power of attorney, as well as answering any questions you may have concerning end of life planning. Parkinson's Support Group

Residents and family members are invited to join us for a Parkinson's Support Group the third Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. A representative from the Parkinson's Foundation of Northwest Ohio will answer questions and inform attendees about various aspects of Parkinson's disease. Mother's Day Tea

A Mother's Day Tea will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 2:30 p.m. for our residents. We will have a guest speaker present a program on ways to display photos and memorabilia around a table with a focus on teacups.

Alzheimer's Association Fundraiser: The Longest Day

On June 21, 2018, the longest day of the year and summer solstice, dozens of people from our community will come together to show their love for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. You can be one of them. Join us Thursday, June 21 from 10:00 a.m.- 4:00 p.m. for a fun-filled day with outdoor games such as cornhole, along with a gift basket raffle and a bake sale to raise money and awareness to fight Alzheimer's.

Throughout May and June, we'll be accepting donations on behalf of the Alzheimer's Association to support research, caregivers and those affected by Alzheimer's. To join the fight, donate online. We look forward to seeing you on June 21!
