Community Life

The Woodlands of Shaker Heights celebrates its residents with special activities, seminars and more throughout the year that bring our community together. Along with a full calendar of activities and events for our residents to enjoy, we also offer an Alzheimer’s support group that meets from 2 to 3 p.m. on the second Thursday of the month. Four denominations also call our community home. Residents, family members and friends can keep track of all of our daily, weekly and monthly happenings, find out how to get involved in our activities, see photos from past events and get the latest news from our community by checking here.

Alzheimer’s Association Fundraiser: The Longest Day

On June 21, 2018, the longest day of the year and summer solstice, dozens of people from our community will come together to show their love for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. You can be one of them. Join us Thursday, June 21 at 11-1pm and 2-4pm for a fun-fill day of Games and Bake Sale to raise money and awareness to fight Alzheimer’s.

Throughout May and June, we’ll be accepting donations on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Association to support research, caregivers and those affected by Alzheimer’s. To join the fight, donate online at the link below. We look forward to seeing you on June 21!

Questions about how you or your organization can get involved? Contact Marissa Olczak at 216-751-0930 or
