Michael Wilson is the Executive Chef at Stonefield in McKinney, Texas. He believes culinary experiences are what help improve the quality of life for his senior residents and aims to improve those happenings at the meals he prepares each day. Memories, travels and everyday life are shared social experiences of food that he loves to share.
Michael has worked in the culinary arts for over 25 years. In his early career, he worked at hotels, country clubs and restaurants but found his true passion while working in the senior living industry.
Michael is a trained Executive Chef who is certified in food management. He perfected his craft under the tutelage of Master Chef Mark French of Marriott International, Master Chef Sterling Burpee of the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas and award-winning Chef André Natera of the Fairmont Austin hotel in Texas.
He has been married for over 17 years and has four daughters. Michael is originally from Queens, New York but now calls McKinney home.
