Senior Living Community Spotlight: The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek

All of our Capital Senior Living communities across the country have one goal in mind – and that is to provide quality senior housing and outstanding services while improving the quality of life for the seniors we serve. Get to know our communities a little bit more through our new Community Spotlight blog series.

Our third community spotlight is The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek located on the picturesque gulf coast in Pensacola, Florida. The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek is an assisted living community also offering temporary stay.

What makes this Pensacola senior living option unique?

The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek offers a unique sense of “home,” setting it apart from other senior living communities in the area. Executive Director Jim Shaffer says, “we constantly hear how warm and welcoming our staff and community is with residents. And that is our goal. We want our residents and our visitors to feel at home.”

Services and amenities available at The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek

Residents can take advantage of the many different amenities offered at The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek. Amenities offered include 24-hour staffing available to residents every day of the week, visiting physical and occupational therapy services, a visiting podiatrist for all your feet-related medical needs and visiting physician assistants.

The resident council meets monthly to discuss life at The Waterford at Carpenter’s Creek, including things that are working and things that are not working for residents. Jim says they receive many suggestions on new things to try. He says, “our residents always have a voice in the daily activities of Carpenter’s Creek. It is their home after all!”
