National Frozen Yogurt Day

You scream, I scream, we all scream for Frozen Yogurt. Frozen yogurt is the delicious, creamy treat we all love. Yogurt was first invented over 4,000 years ago in the Middle East and India and then slowly made its way across the world over the centuries. But it wasn't until the 1970's the brilliant idea of freezing yogurt (and offering a "healthier" alternative) created the taste sensation we love today. On National Frozen Yogurt Day, Crescent Point Senior Living Community will throw a 1980's themed yogurt party, dressed in their favorite 80's attire. to celebrate this inspired dessert. Featuring.. Menchie's Frozen Yogurts. Menchie's proprietary flavors are made exclusively with their own custom recipes that you won't find anywhere else. Menchie's Yogurt capture the taste of your favorite treats and magnify them into exceptional flavors. We welcome visitors, family and friends to come out and enjoy the texture of ice cream with the healthful attributes of live and active cultures and because they use only fresh milk Menchie's Frozen Yogurt is also a good source of calcium. Only the best for our Crescent Point Community.
Come and enjoy the many favors of Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.

Inspire Your Heart With Art Day

On January 25, 2019 at 2:00 pm Crescent Point Senior Living Community will host a Painting Class, featuring renown Artist Mr. George Cephus. Mr. Cephus was born in the small town of Ferriday 12 miles west of Natchez. As a boy he developed his art though sketches of the country side and carving/sculpting small animals using native driftwood and clay. His formal education in art began at Gambling University in 1967. He continued his education and graduated in May 1979 with a degree in fine arts and a minor in industrial arts. Of nearly 30 years hence, George has maintained his love of art through oil painting, both in landscapes and portraits, as well as working with native wood.

Artist's Statement:
In my paintings, I try to capture spontaneous realism with my emotional involvement. The paint is used as a form of creating illusions on a flat surface. The use of brilliant colors and the strong romantic aspect. One should be able to experience his own emotions and feelings through my works

We welcome Local Communities, Senior Centers, Family and Friends to come out and enjoy a fun, relaxing, therapeutic day of painting. Inspire you heart day.
Light food and drinks will be served.
