Flu Shot Tip

Before you get a flu shot this season, you may want to watch a comedy or listen to your favorite music. In a study of older adults, researchers found that being in a good mood when getting the vaccine boosted its protection against the illness months later. Watch for more info to come in October about our annual flu shot clinic!

Bringing Generations Together Through Music

A new weekly music-making experience is now being offered at our community!  Capital Senior Living is bringing Music Together®, an international early childhood music organization, and one of its popular music classes for young children to Charlotte Square. The Generations class is a 45-minute music experience where a teacher leads the group in song, musical games and activities.  Children, newborn to age 5, their caregivers and our residents come together for music-making experiences designed to build relationships across generations and bring joy to your soul.

Classes are every Wednesday at 10:00am.  For more information on Music Together, visit the website below.
