Hangman Word Game

We've been trying out some new games recently and Hangman is one of them. We have found that the residents really seem to enjoy it. The game is simple, you pick letters one at at time to try and figure out the word or phrase before the man gets "hung". If the letter chosen is correct then it goes in the puzzle, if a wrong letter is chosen then you draw a part of the body.

Picnic at the Park

Today we took advantage of this beautiful weather. We took some of the residents out for a picnic at the park. We packed our lunches, loaded the bus and headed down to the park so enjoy all the surrounding nature and fresh air. We had a few visitors stop by including exercisers, dog walkers, a squirrel, ducks, and geese. Good thing we took some extra bread, even the animals got to eat lunch too.

We hosted a breakfast to say Thank you to the first responders in our community. We had a blast being able to give back and show our appreciation. The residents enjoyed their company and stopping by to visit with them as well. We can not wait to do it again and have them back to our facility.
