Flu Shots

This year, we are pleased to announce that My Mobile MD will be administering Flu shots to our residents. Residents and family can sign up at the receptionist desk or via email at squalkenbush@capitalseniorliving.net.

It has been recognized for many years that people 65 years and older are at greater risk of serious complications from the flu compared with young, healthy adults because human immune defenses become weaker with age. Flu vaccination has been shown to reduce flu illnesses and more serious flu outcomes that can result in hospitalization or even death in older people.Don't put it off, get signed up and get your flu shot!

Warren Central Gold Brigade Takes First

Greenbriar Village's own adopted Marching Band, the Warren Central High School Gold Brigade took first place and awards for best music, general effect, color guard, percussion, and visual at the Zionville Marching Band Invitational this past Saturday. Members were so thankful to our residents who took the time last week to pack over 130 snack bags and cookies for their big day. The cookies, with their inspirational quotes, were a big hit and brought smiles to all the members faces. The snack bags hit the spot after the big performance. Good Luck with State Prelims next weekend, Gold Brigade!
