This is a fun show you wont want to miss. Michael always brings songs of the season, a fun game or two, and a whole lot of talent to each and every show. We our so excited to have him here twice a month visiting both our Assisted Living and Memory Care communities.

Michael D. Purvis, BME is a graduate of Butler University and is the founder of three outreaches, a recording studio and a publishing company. A voracious reader, prolific creator, and life-long seeker of truth, Mr. Purvis is an accomplished author, fine artist, recording artist, and teacher of many subjects to people of all ages, from childhood through elderhood.

One Voice Community Choir

This is the group our residents have been asking about! One Voice Community Choir returns to our GBV Community for the 3rd year.

One Voice Community Choir is an adult singing group, focused on community service through music. Members range in age from 21-65 and come from all over the Metropolitan Indianapolis area. One Voice has performed at the Downtown Indianapolis Inc. "Circle of Lights" in front of over 100,000 people.

At Home Podiatry

At Home Podiatry
As a reminder to all our residents, their families, and friends...At Home Podiatry will be in our Community Friday, January 24th beginning at 9:00 AM. Residents will be seen on a first come, first served basis and should plan on meeting on the 3rd floor Art Center. A member of our staff will then escort the resident to their appointment. Any questions concerning scheduling should be directed to the Activities Department at Medical questions should be directed to At Home Podiatry your nurse.

Indianapolis Symphonic Band Free Christmas Concert

A holiday tradition!

For the 3rd year, we will be taking our bus over to the Warren Performing Arts Center for the Indianapolis Symphonic Band's FREE Christmas Concert! Its such a delight for our residents as they are able to enjoy live music from this talented group of professional musicians. The concert starts at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 10th. The Warren Performing Arts Center is located on the campus of Warren Central High School. Their address is 9500 East 16th Street. We hope to see you at this fantastic event.

Warren Central National Honor Society Decorates For Christmas!

We are so excited about our continued partnership with Warren Central High School!

For the 4th year, Warren Central's National Honor Society will magically transform into Elves for 2 hours, transforming our entire community for Christmas. We appreciate their help in making every winter holiday season special for all of our residents!

Happy Substitute Teachers Week Warren Central HS

Greenbriar Village loves our Eastside Community!

Today, Activities Director, Sheryl Qualkenbush, presented Warren Central HS Guest Teacher Coordinator, Amanda Westerfield, with "Sunshine" Gift baskets put together by our very own residents for National Substitute Teachers Week. Our goal was to "add a little sunshine" to all WCHS substitutes day with yellow themed baskets filled with snacks and supplies.

By all the reactions we received from the gracious staff at Warren, we think we hit the mark! Thanks to all substitute teachers throughout our nation who take care of our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. We appreciate you!

This week, our activities department has been celebrating the 80th Anniversary of the much beloved movie, "The Wizard of Oz." Events have included a Emerald City themed party complete with a tornado and movie memorabilia, trivia, reminiscing and viewing the movie, and even adult coloring pages.
