Carole Burnell, Vice President of Operations
Carole Burnell serves as the vice president of operations for Capital Senior Living. In this role, she oversees day-to-day operations for the southwest division.
Carole has more than 22 years of experience in the senior living industry. She has held a variety of leadership roles for multi-community companies — both large and small, public and private.
Prior to her current role, Carole was a regional manager in the Dallas area. Her responsibilities included health-related oversight, budget development and oversight, human resources management, resident and employee relations, property maintenance, risk management and marketing.
Before joining Capital Senior Living in 2004, Carole served as the regional director of operations for Alterra Healthcare. She began her career with Assisted Living Concepts, where she started as an executive director and was promoted to the role of regional director of operations.
Carole received her bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in accounting from West Texas A&M University.
