Dog Therapy

Therapy dogs are dogs that go with their owners to volunteer in settings such as schools, hospitals, and senior communities. From working with a child who is learning to read to visiting a senior, therapy dogs and their owners work together as a team to improve the lives of other people.
Therapy Dogs also receive extensive training but have a completely different type of job from service dogs. Their responsibilities are to provide psychological or physiological therapy to individuals other than their handlers; who are usually their owners. These dogs have stable temperaments and friendly, easy-going personalities.
Come and meet Marilyn and her sweet dog Bosco on Friday, Sept. 7th & 21st at 2:00 p.m. in the Living Room.

Aqua Aerobics

Aqua Aerobics provide all the benefits of regular exercises for promoting health, strength, balance and brain fitness. In addition, the water supports the body and reduces the risk of muscle or joint injury. The force of gravity is counteracted by floating in water, and less stress is placed on the joints when stretching. This will permit you to achieve a and a greater range of motion and progress faster. The ability to float also makes water aerobics safe for anybody able to keep their head out of water. Exercise in water can also prevent overheating, because the water continually cools the body.
Aqua Aerobics Class
Every Tuesday and Thursday at 9:00 a.m.

Thank you!

Remington Staff:
Thank you so much for the amazing care, compassion, and understanding you showed to my family and my grandparents. It was a very difficult time for us, and my grandfather could be especially frustrating to deal with, but you and your entire staff were polite and respectful. We are grateful that they spent their last years surrounded by such kindness. We rejoice they are with the Lord now, and want you to know how much we all appreciated your great work.

Sincerely,
Hilary K.
