Vintage ladies proud of their craft!

Patricia (lady pictured on the left), just finished playing her first game of checkers with her daughter. I asked her daughter who one their game and she said "it was a tie." Wonderful daughter!!!! Patricia and Marie (lady on right) wanted me to take a picture of them showing off their craft from yesterday. Today we will spray the tiles with Acrylic paint and attach the rubber squares to the bottom of their coasters.

Craft time in Assisted Living

At home in my spare time I like to scan through a website called, Pinterest. It has wonderful ideas for games, crafts, recipes, etc., and our craft today was one I found on, Pinterest. It consisted of; white ceramic tiles (5x7), markers (for painting the tiles), drops of alcohol (dime size), and acrylic spray paint. The finished product is a collage of beautiful intertwined colored coasters. We also put felt on the bottom so they wouldn't scratch their tables. We had a blast and everyone loved the finish product.
