Monthly Exercise Challenge

Strong-Life Program promotes monthly walking activities for the residents in the North and South Buildings in the Saint Joseph, Mo. facilities. During the month of January it is all about "Charlie Brown" and his friends ice skating. Each resident receives their comic strip character in their own mail box. They return the ice skater to the ice skating ponds located in their own facility. This is fun activity to get our residents walking.

Rummy Cube

Today the residents enjoyed playing two games of Rummy Cube. The weather in Saint Joseph is extremely cold right now, so the residents enjoy
getting together for some healthy competition. Rummy Cube is a great game for that.

Craft time

Look at the concentration on these ladies faces as they create their Lighthouses. The Lighthouses are compiled of; Blue Solo cups, Tea lights, Electrical tape, and a prescription cup on top. Everyone had a great time making their craft and an ever better time visiting with each other.
